Strategic Human Resource Management

Program Overview

The series of workshops in the Strategic Human Resource Management Certificate Program will better position Human Resource professionals as vital business partners by establishing links between the HR function and the organization’s other strategic business units. These modules cover advanced topics in the area of HR management, including: HR planning, communications and group dynamics, understanding and preventing workplace violence, and internal consulting skills for HR professionals. Presented by experts in their field, each workshop focuses in-depth on the necessary job skills and offers practical suggestions for applying these skills in real-world situations.

FORMAT:

Certificate option: 9 workshops within a 3-year period
Non-Certificate option: any number of workshops
Each workshop is offered once in the Fall and once in the Spring

CREDIT AVAILABLE:

For those interested in academic graduate credit, a 3 credit course waiver is available for an MHRM degree. Please contact RutgersCMD for further information
