is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Surgery, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Division of Urology, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. As Acting Chief of Urology, he was instrumental in helping to establish the Urology Residency Program at the New Brunswick campus. In 2001, Dr. DeGroote (Vascular Surgeon) and Dr. White began collaborating on a project to understand and implement cost accounting methodology in their medical practices. They evaluated each managed care contract using the same tools most businesses would use for profitability. Their analysis and 5 years experience out of managed care has led to numerous invitations to discuss “How to Evaluate Your Practice for Profitability” at local and national surgical and medical organizational meetings, Grand Rounds, and private settings. Dr. White has been interviewed on this subject by local news media as well as CNN.
